⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Sizzling Tofu Generous portion served on a hotplate with egg — flavorful and comforting. The sizzling aroma adds to the appeal, and the taste was consistently good throughout. -Fried Rice Huge portion, easily enough for four people. Nicely seasoned and quite tasty — great for sharing. -Chinese Tea (AUD 1 per person) Disappointing, tasted more like tap water than proper brewed tea. -Tap Water Provided for free, which is nice. P.s.: -Located in a small alley, so it might be easy to miss, but worth finding for the food quality. -Service could be improved, the staff seemed short-handed during peak hours, so some dishes and requests took longer than expected. -Overall, good food and great value for money, though beverage quality and service speed could use some improvement.

I first ate at Billy Lee's about 30 years ago, and it’s great to see that the food quality has remained consistently good after all these years. While prices have gone up (as expected), the taste and speed of service are still reliable — even during busy times, the food comes out fairly quickly. One area that could really use improvement is the toilet. It wasn’t very clean and didn’t feel welcoming. Even though Billy Lee's isn’t a fine dining restaurant, I believe customers still deserve a decent, clean restroom. In terms of value, it would be great if the portion sizes were a bit more generous to match the price point and stay competitive. A nice bonus: they offer a discount if you pay with cash! Overall, still a great spot for tasty Chinese food in Northbridge, especially late at night.

Had sambal pork fried rice and it was not disappointing. Would possibly too spicy for some. Their shrimp wontons were perfect and roast pork were juicy. Tea $1 each person. Nice hot meals in the chilly winter. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had the high reviewed black pepper beef with egg fried rice. Portions were generous commensurate with the prices. Black pepper beef was tender, albeit alittle too rare my taste. Egg fried rice was bombz, alittle too salty but flavor is on point plus li li fen ming.

Good food and good vibes. I usually come here with my friends for late night meals and this place never disappoints. Chilly pepper white bait and salt and pepper squid tentacles are two dish that we always orders, which go very well with the beers they offer. Prices are reasonable and service was down to earth. Will come back again and again.

First visit, good impression, the seafood was fresh, the fried fish and squid are well done, crispy yet inside is not chewy. salted egg crispy squid is a must try. Will try more non-fried dishes on my next visit, also the cashier person is honest, accidentally passed 2 100 dollar notes, but was chased and returned the extra one.

It’s amazing how they keep the energy going and consistently deliver great food. The beer and squid here are absolutely fantastic – they’re standout dishes that you definitely need to try. The squid is cooked to perfection, flavorful, and tender, making it a true highlight. The restaurant also offers an impressive variety of Chinese dishes, and the range is truly surprising. There’s something for everyone, and the flavors are authentic and delicious. What amazed me most was how quickly they prepare the food despite the crowds. The service is efficient, and the quality of the food is outstanding. It’s a great spot to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine with friends in a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!
